Senior Data Management Lead

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to lead and oversee end-to-end delivery of data management projects, encompassing data engineering, data migration, data modernization, and data governance. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of ensuring delivery excellence through well-defined methodologies, standardized practices, and quality assurance frameworks.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading end-to-end delivery of data management projects, ensuring scope, timeline, and quality objectives are consistently met. This includes overseeing multiple concurrent programs and ensuring alignment with business and IT strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define, implement, and enforce best practices and standards for data project execution.
  • Monitor project health through KPIs, metrics, and governance reviews.
  • Ensure risk management, escalation protocols, and change control processes are in place and effective.
  • Lead data strategy creation and implementation that helps the organization to effectively collect, manage, use, and protect its data to support business goals and drive value.
  • Lead architecture & design: Define scalable and secure data architecture for data pipelines, warehousing, and processing systems.
  • Evaluate and recommend appropriate tools, platforms (e.g., Spark, Kafka, Airflow, Snowflake), and cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure).
