AI Innovation Role

We're looking for a strategic and client-facing expert in Generative AI to lead the ideation and design of innovative solutions.

This role requires individuals who are established independent consultants, comfortable with short-notice engagements, and open to fractional or project-based work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Solution Leadership: Engage directly with clients to understand business challenges and translate needs into actionable solution concepts.
  • Technical Architecture: Define the architecture, data strategy, model selection, and tooling required for success.
  • Project Ownership: Lead the end-to-end delivery of GenAI solutions, ensuring technical quality, alignment with business goals, and timely execution of project milestones.
  • Team Mentorship: Guide and mentor cross-functional teams, including other engineers and data scientists, fostering best practices and ensuring project accountability.
  • Hands-On Contribution: Remain hands-on with tools, models, and code to prototype, build, and troubleshoot complex components of the application.
  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as the key technical point of contact for clients, managing expectations, providing clear progress updates, and maintaining strong relationships.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience leading technical teams and taking ownership of AI-driven solution design, development, and deployment.
  • Strong client-facing communication skills, able to articulate complex technical concepts to executive and technical stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of Generative AI technologies, including LLMs, RAG architectures, vector databases, embeddings, and agentic systems.
  • Experience developing and deploying GenAI solutions using Python and relevant frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-based ML/AI services such as AWS Sagemaker, Azure OpenAI, or Google Vertex AI.
  • Prior experience in consulting, pre-sales, or freelance capacity, demonstrating ability to work effectively with external clients.
  • Comfort with dynamic short-term projects where requirements may evolve.
