Job Title: ServiceNow Architect and Technical Governance Expert

This role is responsible for the overall architecture, design, implementation, and integrity of the ServiceNow application within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supports demand management in the ideation phase and early stages of IT projects.
  • Provides solutions that are compatible with the existing (technical and functional) architecture to ensure compliance with strategy, policy, guidelines, budget, and operational supportability.
  • Ensures quality and consistency with functional template design for deployments.
  • Monitors the market to gain knowledge and understanding of currently emerging technologies in own area of expertise.
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with stakeholders and business.
  • Leverages 10+ years of experience in ServiceNow development and configurations to drive best practices across ServiceNow development and configuration.
  • Liaises with IT teams to resolve technical escalations, including responding to defects.
  • Defines, guides, and supports the execution of technical governance processes.
  • Trains the team and team members with technical guidance.
  • Develops standards and practices for maintaining the ServiceNow architecture model.
  • Suggests platform operating models to achieve desired outcomes and foster end-user adoption.
  • Evaluates technical demands against ServiceNow platform capabilities and best practices.
  • Reworks configurations not aligned to ServiceNow best practices.
  • Conducts regular health scans to assess instance health.
  • Oversees platform operations like instance cloning and version upgrade.

Requirements:

  • Masters or Bachelor level education.
  • One or more ServiceNow certifications.
  • 10+ years of experience in ServiceNow development and configurations.
  • 5+ years of experience as ServiceNow Architect or Lead in a complex architecture.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and libraries/frameworks such as AngularJS and Bootstrap.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
