Senior Data Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our team.

This role will involve designing, developing, and optimizing data ingestion, transformation, and governance frameworks to enable real-time and batch data analytics across our data platform.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in building scalable data pipelines, implementing enterprise-grade data governance, security, and AI-powered engineering automation.

  • Key Skills:
  • Familiarity with cloud-native data engineering on Azure, AWS, and GCP platforms
  • Strong understanding of data architecture patterns – Lakehouse, medallion, delta architecture
  • Proficiency in SQL, PySpark, Python, and data orchestration tools
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Gen2, Event Hub, and Azure Functions
  • Developing and maintaining ETL/ELT processes for structured and unstructured data
  • Implementing Change Data Capture (CDC), streaming pipelines, and batch ingestion
  • Experience with data versioning and GitOps for data
  • Working knowledge of data observability, lineage, cataloguing, and data quality
  • Exposure to machine learning use cases in data engineering pipelines, data quality, anomaly detection, and schema change detection
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • At least 4 years of experience in data engineering with a strong background in cloud-native data engineering
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills
  • Ability to lead data initiatives and mentor team members
  • Proactive in learning and adopting emerging technologies in data & AI
