Design Engineering Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineering Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for developing 3D models and detailed engineering drawings using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.

  • Developing part models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings with a focus on mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Interpreting engineering sketches and specifications to produce accurate and efficient designs.
  • Collaborating with engineers and other designers to ensure design intent and project requirements are met.
  • Performing design checks, tolerance analysis, and ensuring manufacturability of components.
  • Maintaining drawing standards and ensuring compliance with project and industry codes.

This role requires strong technical skills in Autodesk Inventor, as well as experience in designing mechanical systems, equipment layouts, and fabrication drawings.

  • Diploma/Engineering Graduate in Mechanical or Production Engineering with 3-7 years of experience.
  • Proficient in Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, and Vault for mechanical design and documentation.
  • Familiarity with international design standards and codes (ASME, ISO, DIN, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of GD&T, material selection, and manufacturing processes.
