About the Position

We seek a Track Alignment Expert to assist in designing preliminary track layouts for various projects.

As a key team member, you will be responsible for designing horizontal and vertical track centre lines, preparing points and crossings based on operational concepts, and creating standard operating procedures to ensure work execution meets specified standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Designing Horizontal and Vertical Track Centre Line Layouts: Utilize expertise to design optimal track alignments that meet safety and efficiency standards.
  • Preparation of Points and Crossings: Develop detailed designs for points and crossings based on operational requirements.
  • Implementation of Standard Operating Procedures: Establish and enforce procedures to ensure consistent work execution.
  • Analyzing As-Built Components: Conduct thorough analyses of as-built components to identify areas for redesign and improvement.
  • Planning and Coordination: Coordinate daily activities related to rail track design and infrastructure development projects.
  • Expertise in Design Methodologies: Possess extensive knowledge of various design methodologies, particularly in elevated sections.
  • Rail Design Software Proficiency: Skilled in using rail design software for swept path analysis, regression analysis, and drainage calculations.
  • Quality Checks and Assurance: Conduct quality checks and assurance reviews to ensure deliverables meet high standards.
  • Site Visits and Interface Management: Perform site visits to monitor construction activities and interface with other teams.
Qualifications
  • Education: Graduate degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of total experience, with at least 5 years of relevant experience in track alignment for metro projects.
