Job Overview

As a seasoned software development professional, we are seeking an exceptional individual to lead our team in crafting innovative solutions. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in architecting and designing scalable applications, with a strong background in Java and experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement scalable solutions using best practices and design patterns.
  • Provide accurate project estimations and ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintain high coding standards and enforce best practices and performance optimizations.
  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Oversee feature development and bug fixes, ensuring no regressions are introduced.
  • Drive projects through the development lifecycle, from environments to production deployment.
  • Collaborate with onshore teams during PST office hours, ensuring smooth communication and coordination.
  • Implement test automation using Jest (Unit Tests) and Playwright (Component Tests).
  • Conduct performance analysis and optimizations during feature development and delivery.

Required Skills & Expertise:
  • Expertise in Java, including best practices, design patterns, and performance optimization.
  • Strong experience in 14/16 and Java.
  • Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Solid understanding of Micro Frontend (MFE) and Backend for Frontend (BFF) architectures.
  • Hands-on experience in test automation (Jest, Playwright).
  • Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Desirable Competencies:
  • 6+ years of software development experience.
  • 2+ years of experience leading a team of engineers.
  • 2+ years of experience working with global teams.
  • Strong understanding of accessibility best practices.
