Network Infrastructure Specialist

The primary role of the Network Infrastructure Specialist is to design, implement, and manage computer networks. This encompasses local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and wireless networks.

Main Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with vendors to resolve connectivity issues.
  • Detect and respond to network incidents proactively, adhering to clear escalation procedures and communication protocols.
  • Provide regular reports on network performance, including bandwidth utilization, latency, uptime, and availability metrics, offering actionable insights for network optimization.
SD WAN Management
  • Ensure high-performance WAN links connecting remote sites with redundancy and failover solutions.
  • Manage SD-WAN solutions, enabling dynamic routing and bandwidth optimization across regions.
  • Maintain minimal jitter, latency, and packet loss to ensure optimal user experience for global collaboration tools.
Branch Network WAN Management
  • Manage WAN links connecting all branches, ensuring redundancy and high availability for office locations and retail outlets across the country.
  • Guarantee stable and secure network connections for all branch offices and locations, with real-time monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Perform L2 network troubleshooting, capacity trend/problem identification, patching, and configuration management.
LAN/Wi-Fi Management
  • Oversee LAN lifecycle, including switch configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Manage the Wi-Fi network, ensuring coverage, security, and performance for both office and remote locations.
  • Offer secure, segregated guest Wi-Fi access with appropriate bandwidth controls.
Audit Participation and Documentation
  • Participate in all audits requested by the customer, completing required forms and collecting relevant data.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of all requested audit materials.
  • Complete all audit questionnaires and related documents as required by the customer, ensuring thoroughness and compliance with the scope of the service provided.
