We are seeking a Staff IT Audit Consultant to join our team.

Our ideal candidate will be well-versed in SSAE 21 (SOC Reporting) and AICPA standards.

The successful candidate will assist senior consultants, report to managers, and work closely with clients.

Responsibilities

This role requires strong collaboration skills to drive business growth and service delivery. Key responsibilities include:

1. Participating in planning activities to identify client needs and service opportunities in assurance, advisory, risk, and compliance services.

2. Managing engagement growth and service delivery, including System and Organization Controls (SOC) Examinations, PCI DSS Assessments, HITRUST Assessments, IT Audits, internal audit engagements, pre and post implementation assessments, and report issuance under AICPA Consulting and Attestation Standards.

3. Working closely with clients to execute engagements, focusing on leveraging industry insights and functional expertise from our advisory business to bring value to clients.

4. Designing and executing high-quality audit procedures that are integrated, efficient, and effective.

5. Assisting in developing audit methodology, guidelines, quality review standards, and communication protocols. Creating and implementing audit programs to establish robust audit processes.

6. Preparing and communicating issues, risks, and recommendations to client leadership, including ongoing insights on potential corrective action plans.

7. Identifying potential clients and generating leads for our services.

Skills

Key qualifications include:

1. Excellent verbal and written communication with clients and team members.

2. Collaboration with the engagement team to plan the engagement, develop timelines, risk assessments, budgets, and other documents.

3. Leadership to ensure quality workpapers and deliverables, provide regular status updates, and adhere to project timelines.

4. Demonstrated understanding of standards, regulations, and information systems.

5. Strong project management skills, maintaining teamwork, project timelines, and quality deliverables.

6. Confidentiality and integrity within a professional environment.

Education and Experience Qualifications

Required:

1. Bachelor's degree and at least two years of related work experience or a graduate degree and approximately one to two years of related work experience.

2. Degree in business, accounting, finance, computer science, information systems, or a related discipline.

3. Preferably a Chartered Accountant member of the ICAI.

4. Minimum one year of experience as an auditor or risk advisor for a CA firm, professional services firm, or financial services company, or comparable experience as an advisor to a financial services company. Significant experience with auditing IT General Controls and Business Process Controls is an advantage.
