Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Planning and Reporting Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in supporting business leadership by providing accurate and timely financial and operational reporting and analysis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring the profit and loss of a corporate function, managing headcount, salaries, and benefits, and analyzing and interpreting variances to provide recommendations to management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver monthly forecast, annual budget reporting packs, and daily/weekly/monthly business reports that support management decision-making.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of information stored in our systems, enabling a single source of truth.
  • Monitor actual financial performance and compare budget and forecast projections.
  • Liaise with the General Ledger Accounting team to post monthly adjustments, ensuring accuracy of expense bookings and P&L view.
  • Analyze and interpret variances with commentaries across periods/cycles, prepare reporting, and provide recommendations to functional teams.
  • Manage and report OPEX/CAPEX, headcount, and coordinate with different vertical leads.
  • Deliver ad-hoc reports and analyses as required.
  • Drive continuous improvement and ways of working.

Requirements:

  • CA/MBA or any other master's degree with a focus in Finance and Accounting.
  • 6 to 10 years of combined Accounting, Controlling, Reporting, and Financial Planning & Analysis experience.
  • Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
  • Solid experience in preparing financial & operational reporting and analytics, preferably in the retail environment.
  • Highly organized individual with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Team player with flexible, results-oriented ability to work well under pressure.
  • Strong customer centricity, continuous improvement mindset, and excellent communication skills.
  • Fluent in English with ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
  • Experience with navigating data retrieval, consolidating data from general ledger/data warehouse tools.
  • Knowledge of Hyperion, Essbase, and SAP is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Tableau and Business Insight is an added advantage.
