Investment Analyst Role

Precise analysis of the investment landscape is crucial to identifying high-potential private companies. We are seeking an Investment Analyst to focus on sourcing and evaluating businesses, combining deal origination, relationship building, and early diligence to strengthen our investment pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Company Sourcing – Identify private companies through databases, industry research, and networks.
  • Market Mapping – Build sector landscapes to spot high-potential businesses across growth and late-stage segments.
  • Founder Outreach – Engage with promoters, founders, and advisors to explore potential investment opportunities.
  • Preliminary Assessment – Analyze financials, governance, and compliance of shortlisted companies.
  • Investment Notes – Prepare screening reports, teasers, and pipeline dashboards for the investment committee.
  • Relationship Development – Build connections with bankers, intermediaries, and ecosystem players to generate proprietary deal flow.
  • Tracking Trends – Monitor regulatory updates on demat requirements and pipeline for potential listings.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred).
  • 1–3 years of experience in investment banking, venture capital, private equity, consulting, or corporate finance.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, valuation, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and networking skills to engage founders and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, with high attention to detail and initiative in sourcing opportunities.
