Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Relationship Manager to join our team. This role involves managing mid-market and emerging large corporates, monitoring borrower accounts, and providing advisory services to borrowers in turnaround situations.

The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of relevant work experience in Banking, Asset Reconstruction Companies, or Big 4 consultancy firms. They will be responsible for managing stressed assets, formulating recovery strategies, and designing early warning triggers.

In addition, the successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of entity financials, various industries, and RBI guidelines for stressed assets and restructuring. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage mid-market and emerging large corporates
  • Regularly monitor borrower accounts and maintain updates on developments in respective borrower accounts
  • Provide advisory services to borrowers in turnaround situations, including liquidity concerns, viability studies, and sustainable business planning
  • Manage stressed assets, involving interaction with companies, performance monitoring, benchmarking, adherence to stipulated terms, and site visits
  • Monitor exposures to enable proactive action whenever required. Review credit files, financials, and security documentation and current status
  • Design and implement suitable early warning triggers for allocated accounts. Closely monitor allocated portfolios, reviewing operational and financial performance, monitoring monthly cash flows, tracking economic cycles, and applicable industries
  • Formulate recovery strategies post-factoring appropriate legal options

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or Master of Business Administration (MBA) from a reputable institution
  • Excellent knowledge of entity financials, involving credit analysis
  • Knowledge of various industries
  • Knowledge of RBI guidelines for stressed assets and restructuring
  • Reasonable knowledge of legal forums and applicable laws, including IBC, SARFAESI, commercial suits, contract laws, etc
  • Satisfactory note-making skills and good command over written and spoken communication
