ServiceNow OTM Solution Consultant Job Overview

This is a senior ServiceNow position that requires implementation and configuration of the ServiceNow OTM platform in enterprise-wide, multi-tier production environments.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Implementing mid-server configuration, CMDB, discovery, service graph connector (SGC) with strong hands-on experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of networking concepts, DMZ zone, public/private/hybrid cloud environment, etc.
  • Basic understanding of industrial control systems and OT network functions, including the Purdue Model architecture.
  • Prior experience in implementing OT visibility, OT asset management, and OT service management modules in ServiceNow is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of Windows, Linux/UNIX administration, and PowerShell scripting.
  • Moderate understanding of database-level architecture and writing SQL queries.
  • Ability to script automated processes using business rules, script actions, etc.
  • Configuration and enhancements capability on the ServiceNow CMDB, ITOM modular platform.
  • Develop ServiceNow ITOM configuration, including CMDB data alignment, automated data population, data import, etc.
  • Document development, configuration, and technical details and prepare training materials for projects.
  • Implement CSDM framework for operational technology, end-to-end data alignment process documentation, including CMDB and CSDM processes and procedures.
  • Develop training materials and train stakeholders on new processes and procedures.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders throughout planning, development, and release processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of ServiceNow OTM, including its various modules and features. Additionally, they should possess strong technical skills, such as hands-on experience with mid-server configuration, CMDB, discovery, and service graph connectors.
