Job Title: Project Lead Designer

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Project Lead Designer to lead our creative projects and teams. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing design projects from brief to final delivery, with strong experience in project management tools like Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and Jira.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading creative projects, gathering requirements for design work, ensuring team delivers on time and meets quality standards. They will collect design requirements from stakeholders and translate them into actionable tasks for the appropriate team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead creative projects, ensure team delivers on time and meets quality standards.
  • Collect design requirements from stakeholders and translate them into actionable tasks.
  • Act as the main point of contact for all design-related requests, ensuring alignment between stakeholders and design teams, and managing expectations throughout the process.
  • Own the design project backlog, prioritize tasks based on business needs, and ensure that deadlines are met without compromising quality.
  • Set up and manage Jira boards for design projects, track the status of tasks, and monitor progress to ensure that projects are completed on time and within scope.
  • Ensure all design work aligns with brand guidelines and meets required quality standards.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years in digital organizations, ideally with experience in web SaaS, eCommerce, or Creative agencies. Experience in managing design projects is a plus.
  • Familiar with tools like Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and Jira. Strong experience managing creative workflows from brief to final delivery.
  • Strong understanding of the design process, including UI/UX design, animation, and video production, with the ability to delegate tasks to specialists.
  • Proven ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring efficiency and quality.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to lead discussions across teams and at all levels, including stakeholders and leadership.
  • Bachelor's degree in digital marketing, web design, User experience, Digital Media, IT, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
