Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Style Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for staying on top of upcoming trends and ensuring that our product offerings meet the expectations of our aspirational brands.

About the Role:

  • Trend Forecasting: Stay up-to-date with the latest fashion trends and validate them with our brand partners to ensure commercial viability.
  • Colour Board Development: Create Colour Boards at the beginning of each season, incorporating updated shades sourced from brands.
  • Market Research: Conduct regular market research with our team to identify emerging trends and styles that can enhance our product range.
  • Market Benchmarking Report: Produce a comprehensive market benchmarking report after each visit and share it with the team.
  • Internal Reviews: Collaborate with the buying team to select the best products for our range.
  • Vendor Management: Visit vendors to oversee sample development and artwork creation.
  • Quality Control: Ensure lab dips for bulk production meet our quality standards.
  • Design Creation: Develop artwork for selected styles and coordinate with vendors.

Requirements:

  • Total work experience of 4-8 years is required.
  • A graduate or postgraduate degree from NIFT or PEARL is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, Excel, and other software necessary for CADs and illustrations is essential.
