Accounting Manager Position

Job Summary:

This role is responsible for leading the accounting team and overseeing all financial functions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent leadership skills, and experience with NetSuite or similar software packages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective accounting policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Manage the accounting team and provide guidance on accounting matters.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must hold a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CA (Chartered Accountant) qualification to be eligible.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years' relevant operational accounting experience with a mixture of different industry experience.
  • Experience working with external and internal auditors, knowing when to push back on auditors when needed.
  • Stability of employment relationships demonstrated by 1.5-2 years at each employer.
