Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Legal Contracts Negotiator to join our team. As a key member of the legal function, you will play a pivotal role in streamlining legal review of commercial agreements and increasing efficiency for revenue/sales.

Main Responsibilities:

">
  • Draft and negotiate terms and conditions for commercial agreements, following internal guidelines and utilizing industry best practices.
  • Solve any contract-related problems that may arise with other parties and internally within the organization.
  • Develop and effectively articulate creative solutions and draft alternative terms, working closely with attorneys within the Legal department.
  • Obtain approval for non-standard terms in accordance with internal policies.
  • Educate internal teams to promote conformity and consistency in contract terms and legal obligations.
  • Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of administrative processes and legal documents.
  • Partner with internal teams to drive process and operational improvements and ensure an exceptional customer experience.

Requirements:

">
  • University level degree or equivalent, with 4-6 years' experience negotiating legal terms & conditions with directly customers or vendors.
  • Training or education in law, paralegal skills, negotiation, or legal writing, including IAACM or similar certification required.
  • Familiarity with organizations desirable.
  • Highly proficient in spoken and written English.
  • Experience working with commercial contract management and a good level of understanding of contract and commercial law.
  • Ability to manage complex issues, apply legal, financial, and business principles to contracting.
  • Adept in using digital tools, document systems, and MS Office - particularly advanced skills in Word, Excel, Power Point, SharePoint.
  • Strong communication and follow-up skills.
