Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned IT professional to lead our CMDB development efforts within the ServiceNow platform. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining a robust and accurate CMDB that meets business needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of the CMDB within the ServiceNow platform.
  • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure CMDB solutions meet business needs.
  • Implement and enforce CMDB data standards, policies, and procedures to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain CMDB documentation, including data models, workflows, and processes.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the CMDB development team.
  • Perform regular audits and data quality checks to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Integrate the CMDB with other IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and tools.
  • Stay up-to-date with ServiceNow CMDB best practices and industry trends.
  • Conduct training sessions for end-users and stakeholders on CMDB functionalities and best practices.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in CMDB development and administration within the ServiceNow platform.
  • Proven experience leading CMDB projects and teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
  • Experience with integrating CMDB with other ITSM processes and tools.
  • Strong understanding of database design, data modeling, and data governance principles.
