Senior Data Governance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Governance Specialist to lead the development and implementation of our enterprise data governance program. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and supporting tools and technologies that enable effective data management and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

About the Role- Lead the development and implementation of the enterprise data governance program, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Design and implement data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data governance initiatives, develop project plans, and manage resources.
- Develop and maintain documentation, reports, and metrics to track progress and measure the effectiveness of data governance initiatives.
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in data governance, with a strong understanding of data management principles, practices, and regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong technical skills in data governance tools, such as Collibra, Informatica, Alation, etc.
- Certifications in data governance and relevant technologies are a plus.
