About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Debt Funding Specialist with expertise in raising debt capital and experience in non-banking financial companies or small finance banks.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the process of raising debt capital from banks, NBFCs, and financial institutions.

Your primary focus will be on building and managing relationships with lenders, financial institutions, rating agencies, and investors to secure funding.

You will also structure debt transactions, negotiate loan terms, and ensure optimal funding costs. Additionally, you will work closely with other teams to assess funding risks and mitigate exposure.

To succeed in this role, you must have a solid understanding of RBI/NBFC regulations, due diligence, and loan documentation. Strong negotiation, financial modeling, and stakeholder management skills are essential.

Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in raising debt funds from banks, NBFCs, and financial institutions.
  • Strong network with lenders, including banks, NBFCs, DFIs, and structured finance players.
  • Prior experience in NBFCs or Small Finance Banks is a must.
  • Expertise in structured finance, term loans, working capital loans, and credit lines.
  • Solid understanding of RBI/NBFC regulations, due diligence, and loan documentation.
  • Strong negotiation, financial modeling, and stakeholder management skills.
