Job Description:

A Technical Development Lead is required to spearhead the development of cloud-native applications. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in full-stack Java, cloud, web, and mobile technologies.

Strong knowledge of domain-driven designs, event-based architecture, API, and microservices architecture is highly regarded. The ideal candidate will be passionate about new technologies and demonstrate working knowledge across various domains including cloud, UI, application, security, and data architecture.

Key responsibilities include leading and building new cloud-native applications, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, articulating design and code details, and overseeing application development throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 12 years of related IT experience designing and deploying enterprise-level business or technical applications
  • Extensive experience in distributed and cloud technologies, their integration, and configuration: e.g., cloud workloads, containerization, Linux, Java/JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, MVC, Angular JS, React, mobile and application middleware, ESB, datapower XML/JSON, SOA, and API management, distributed relational and noSQL databases Postgres/Yugabyte along with traditional Oracle/MySQL/DB2, PhoneGap/IOS/Android SDKs, etc.
  • Working experiences with microservices, mobile and web app security concepts, session management, performance tuning, automated testing techniques, high availability engineering, and database technologies for mobile and web apps
  • Working knowledge of cryptography, key management, and security solutions on both mobile and server side with understanding of security protocols and cryptography including PKI, SSL, RSA, authentication, encryption, digital signatures
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies such as rules, AI, and Machine Learning with good understanding of how technology relates to business, market, and industry and applies such knowledge to support the needs of the business
  • Possesses strong knowledge of application development technologies, tools, methodologies, as well as all functional areas in an IT organization. Excellent level of analytical ability, communication, and interpersonal skills required to build relationships with team members and customers to solve problems and resolve issues
  • Functional and technical specifications, coding, and testing and/or application support including strong understanding of mobile and web app, security concepts, session management, performance tuning, automated testing techniques, high availability engineering, and database technologies for mobile and web apps
  • Demonstrated experience in both agile/scrum and waterfall life cycle application development
  • Experience and comfort in mentoring and driving teams of 20+
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Any working experience working with any other payment solutions including mainframe environment would be of advantage
