Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Federal Proposal Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have sound knowledge of RFP/RFQ/RFI management, Bid Management, Capture management, and US Federal government contracting.

The successful candidate will be responsible for anchoring responses to proactive (proposals) as well as reactive (RFP/RFI) bids, and will proactively identify and propose improvements or innovations to services, product functionality or processes.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare customer/vertical-specific sales collaterals (Capability presentations, case studies, solution documents, white papers etc.) by working closely with the respective practice teams.
  • Assist the sales team to develop and implement account penetration strategies and account-specific sales plans.
  • Ensure timely submission of proposals and other presales activities.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of relevant experience in an IT services/staffing company, with a strong understanding of US Federal government, SLED contracting, and End-to-End sales life cycle.

  • Experience in RFP/RFQ/RI management and a good understanding of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to prepare proposals, case studies, marketing collateral etc.
  • Ability to navigate and get the required information from various stakeholders to design a compelling solution/proposal.
  • Strong understanding of federal procurement regulations, including FAR and DFARS.
Preferred Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Proposal writing, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a good understanding of US Federal government contracting - Contract vehicles, GWACs, GSA Platform & IDIQs. Capture & Bid Management using various portals such SAM.GOV, GovTribe, GovWIN, FedConnect & GSA and FPDS.
