
Technical Sales Specialist

The ideal candidate will be responsible for actively driving sales processes with customers, while providing accurate forecasting on sales pipelines.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support and manage SMB customers within a defined geographic territory.
- Drive a culture of success through product expertise and positive account management.
- Monitor the quality of services delivered to customers by conducting quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and identifying opportunities for upselling.
- Engage with channel partners and provide renewal quotes in a timely manner.
- Work closely with customers to grow and expand the implementation and integration of security products and services.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- General knowledge of IT security fields, including firewall, intrusion detection systems, vulnerability management, network scanners, PCI compliance, and policy compliance/GRC-IT.
- Knowledge of desktop and server operating system configuration, TCP/IP networking hardware, protocols, and LAN configuration, as well as network design and web security architectures.
- Ability to understand network and security infrastructure elements and advise on the best use of security products on cloud platforms.
- Strong technical background, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work well in small group settings and possess a strong desire to be a customer-facing, technical solution expert.
- Extensive experience with CRM software for maintaining accurate customer activity, contact, and account information.
Preferred Requirements:
- 3-6 years of equivalent experience in consulting or account management.
- Pre-sales experience in computer networking or information security or public clouds.
- Candidates from STEM backgrounds are preferred.
