Shop Supervisor

A Shop Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all aspects of a retail shop's operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day functions and optimal customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and motivate a team of staff to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
  • Scheduling and Task Assignment: Schedule staff shifts, assign tasks, and ensure proper coverage for all operational hours.
  • Performance Management: Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and identify training needs to enhance team skills.
Operational Excellence
  • Shop Operations: Oversee all shop operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and point-of-sale (POS) system management.
  • Visual Merchandising: Ensure the shop's layout, displays, and visual merchandising are attractive and align with brand standards.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment for both employees and customers.
Sales and Customer Service
  • Sales Techniques: Lead by example on the shop floor, demonstrating exceptional sales techniques and customer service.
  • Sales Performance Monitoring: Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and implement strategies to boost revenue.
Inventory Management
  • Inventory Supervision: Supervise inventory management, including receiving new stock, conducting regular stock counts, and minimizing shrinkage.
  • Stock Coordination: Coordinate with suppliers and the back office to ensure timely ordering and replenishment of products.
Reporting and Administration
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports to management.
  • Administrative Tasks: Manage all administrative tasks related to the shop, including payroll submission, documentation, and compliance checks.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 2 - 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Education: B.E or Post Graduate Diploma.
  • Industry: Engineering/Cement/Metals.
