About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Transformational Program Manager to join our team at Arthan. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading and managing multiple workstreams related to large-scale educational reform in Madhya Pradesh.

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will oversee various workstreams, including:

  • Academic Materials and School-based Assessments: Collaborate with academic partners to design comprehensive materials for different grades, manage procurement, printing, and delivery to schools, and continuously iterate designs based on field feedback.
  • Teacher Professional Development: Design training materials, manuals, and digital training calendars, ensure monitoring of training cascades, and drive high completion rates for courses.
  • Mentoring Programs for Teachers: Identify and train mentors, design school visit protocols, and implement an app-based observation tool for monitoring visit compliance and improving mentor support.
  • System Assessment of Outcomes: Develop learning outcome frameworks, design assessment items, develop an assessment app, analyze baseline assessments, generate district reports, and provide insights to the state mission director.
  • Monitoring System: Develop a monitoring framework, create tech tools for collecting KPIs, develop dashboards for decision-making, field-test tech tools, and train stakeholders in data collection.
  • Managing Fellow's Projects: Support Fellows placed at district levels, execute project modules, induce district officials, manage Fellow progress, troubleshoot challenges, and collaborate with the state mission director.
  • Delivering District Accelerator Programs: Collaborate with CDO and CEO to devise plans for improving adoption of mission activities, execute playbooks to enhance governance structures, work on capacity building of BEOs and mentors, and drive implementation of all workstreams at district levels.
  • Delivering Central Team Projects to Support State Teams: Collaborate with central team leads to manage monitoring data collection and analysis, support talent acquisition and retention projects, assist in executing performance management programs, and support fundraising and donor management activities.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree from a reputed university; a master's degree is preferred.
  • Prior experience working with government stakeholders is required.
  • 2-4 years of post-qualification work experience, preferably with a government entity, demonstrating a superb project delivery and management track record.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems, develop possible solutions, and make recommendations.
  • Action-oriented mindset with strong planning skills, ability to set priorities, plan, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, in English and Hindi.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive and collaborative relationships with government stakeholders.
  • Ability to identify and address execution gaps in a timely manner, working closely with project leads to generate viable solutions.
  • Prior exposure to the education sector, public/development sector, or consulting is preferred.

We offer a competitive salary of ₹1,200,000 per annum, reflecting the market rate for a professional with your expertise and qualifications.
