Job Overview

As a seasoned developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing integrated file transfer solutions using the IBM Sterling File Gateway suite. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring seamless data exchange between various systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • File Transfer Expertise:
    • Proven experience with the entire suite of IBM Sterling products, including Sterling Integrator, Sterling Map Editor, Sterling File Gateway, Sterling Secure Proxy, Perimeter Servers, and Sterling Control Centre.
    • Proficiency in mapping knowledge, which is an added advantage.
  • Database and Scripting Skills:
    • Strong understanding of SQL and its applications in data management.
    • Working knowledge of Shell scripting and Java programming languages.
  • File Transfer Protocol Knowledge:
    • Familiarity with FTPS/SFTP/Connect:Direct protocols for secure file transfer.
    • Basic understanding of certificate management concepts, including TLS/SSL/OCSP.
  • Version Control and CI/CD:
    • Experience with version control using Git and other tools.
    • Basic understanding of Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) concepts and deployment processes.
  • Cloud and Containerization:
    • Familiarity with cloud and containerization concepts, including Kubernetes, is an added advantage.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Expertise in the IBM Sterling File Gateway suite.
  • Strong understanding of SQL, Shell scripting, and Java programming languages.
  • Knowledge of file transfer protocols and certificate management.
  • Experience with version control using Git and other tools.
  • Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts and deployment processes.
  • Familiarity with cloud and containerization concepts, including Kubernetes, is an added advantage.
