Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role for a Senior Developer based in Kochi. The Senior Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications. Day-to-day tasks include writing clean and efficient code, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and design new features, debugging and resolving technical issues, and participating in code reviews to maintain code quality. The Senior Developer will also mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to ensure best practices in software development.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or similar
  • Experience in web development technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum
  • Proficiency in database management and SQL
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Previous experience in a senior or lead development role is an advantage
