Network People Services Technologies Ltd. (NPST- Banking and Payment Solutions) has been bridging the banking and fintech worlds with its product suite of technology and payments, for over 10 years.

We provide software and digital payment solutions to the BFSI Industry as a Technology service provider(TSP) and Payment Platform as a Service (PPaaS), catering to stakeholders across the financial value chain, including banks, aggregators, merchants, and consumers.

We are listed on NSE SME Board (NSE Emerge) in Aug – 2021 as one of the only few Fintech in listed space. Today we are the most valued SME in India on (NSE platform) with Market cap exceeding 2500 Cr (as of Mar'24).

Our vision is to operate across the entire financial value chain, which is why we acquired approval from National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI) for Third Party Application Provider (TPAP). We now operate as Merchant PSP under our Sponsor Bank.

NPST has a marquee clientele in Banking space across PSU, Private, RRB and Co-operative bank segment as well as 100+ Fintech utilizing NPST platform to access UPI Payments.

About the Job

The Senior Director of Business Development will engage with customers as a solution provider and subject matter expert in their digital payment's requirement. This role involves taking up opportunities in the business development in BFSI segment especially Payment software for Banks and Regulated entities.

The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of the Software product sales cycle and expertise in mapping business in domestic market across Public and Private Sector banks. A strong network of relations in the banking community will be an added advantage.

This role requires connecting with banks and proven experience of success. The ability to work independently with a proven track record of creating and executing partnerships with key accounts/ alliances that drive measurable business results is also essential.

The job responsibilities include driving captive business growth across existing business & identifying new business opportunities with yearly revenue & margin accountability. Engaging with CXO level executives at the Captives is also a crucial aspect of this role.

The Associate Director will identify areas and opportunities within the customer organization that can benefit from Company products & services and close such opportunities. Planning & driving the sales effort by building structured pipelines, solutions, winning proposals and ensuring engagement initiation is another important responsibility.

The ability to negotiate with customers on delivery milestones and commercials is required. Directly owning the account plans, Revenue targets, forecasting revenue, order book, maintaining and growing pipeline is another key aspect of this role.

This position also involves working with internal support functions such as Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Legal, Finance, Product/Pre-sales etc. to drive necessary support for account growth.

The ideal candidate will develop a network of direct and indirect sales teams for generating leads and business. Establishing new relationships, nurturing existing ones, training & pitching the NPST products is also an important part of this role.

Requirements

The candidate should have proven software or platform sales experience, payments experience being a plus. A good understanding of the market, with strong market client contacts and proven experience (In banking sector) is also essential.

A good understanding of the Fintech industry segment and expertise in Sales, Marketing and Key Account Management is required. Managing multiple large accounts sales lead role with proven track record is a must.

The ideal candidate will have enhanced relationships at CXO level within the respective markets, with a proven history of significant account growth within Fintech. Solid knowledge of IT & Fintech service offerings including regulatory changes, digital initiatives, enterprise application services, cloud & IT infrastructure management, custom application services is also required.

Candidate having good knowledge on Payment products like UPI, BBPS, IMPS and Merchant Acquiring platforms is a plus. Entrepreneurial skills, ability to observe, innovate and own your work are essential.

Detail-oriented and organized with strong time management skills is required. Influencing skills and the ability to create positive working relationships with team members at all levels is also essential.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required. Collaborative approach and work with perfection as a group effort to achieve organization goal is also important.
