Deputy General Manager Position
This is a highly sought-after opportunity for an experienced professional to lead the tendering process in various sectors, including Oil and Gas, Energy, and related fields.
Responsibilities:
- Tender Preparation: The incumbent will be responsible for preparing comprehensive tenders for government clients and public sector undertakings, including technical write-ups and cost estimations.
- Bid Management: The successful candidate will manage end-to-end bid processes for government clients and public sector undertakings, encompassing pre-qualification documents, expression of interest (EOI), bids, and project management.
- Tender Identification: This role requires identifying relevant tenders from public sector undertakings, government agencies, and private companies through diverse resources.
- Client Liaison: The Deputy General Manager will maintain excellent professional relationships with clients and coordinate with central functions for bid compliance, including accounts, legal, and finance.
- Execution Coordination: The incumbent will coordinate with the execution team and maintain relationships with external parties for bidding purposes.
- Documentation: Regular documentation and correspondence of business development activities and updates of credentials are essential.
Requirements:
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, along with 10 years of experience in bidding and tendering, and overall 10-15 years of experience.
- MBA Preferred: An MBA is preferred but not essential.
Competencies:
- Bidding Knowledge: Proficiency in bidding and tendering activities.
- Strategic Ability: Strong strategic and analytical ability, along with good writing and calculation skills.
