Job Overview
The Product Manager is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to drive sales, market share, and profitability.
- Develop annual and long-term marketing plans for assigned brands.
- Identify consumer insights and market trends to inform brand positioning.
- Oversee product launches, relaunches, and lifecycle management.
- Monitor brand performance and profitability to ensure continuous growth.
- Conduct research to identify opportunities and track market dynamics.
- Design campaigns and promotional materials to drive consumer engagement.
- Collaborate with agencies to develop impactful communication strategies.
- Work with sales teams to develop trade marketing plans and support field execution.
- Coordinate with regulatory and medical teams to ensure product compliance.
- Prepare and monitor budgets for assigned brands.
- Measure ROI of campaigns and track sales performance against targets.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of pharma OTC / Consumer Healthcare marketing.
- Expertise in brand building, consumer insights, and digital marketing.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects.
- Strategic thinking with strong execution capabilities.
Qualifications & Experience
- MBA/PGDM in Marketing or equivalent.
- Min 4 years of experience in Product/Brand Management (preferably Pharma-OTC).
- Proven track record of handling consumer brands and driving growth.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Market share growth of assigned OTC brands.
- Achievement of sales and profitability targets.
- Successful product launches and campaign effectiveness.
- Consumer awareness and engagement levels.
