Job Title: Public Relations Assistant

The role of a Public Relations Specialist is to manage the external communications and public image of our organization. This involves crafting press releases, media relations, and managing public-facing communications to ensure that we are portrayed positively and accurately.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing PR campaigns that align with our brand and business goals.
  • Writing and distributing press releases, speeches, and other communications.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key media contacts to secure positive coverage for our organization.
  • Monitoring and managing our public image, responding to media inquiries, and managing crises.
  • Collaborating with the social media team to manage public statements and responses on digital platforms.
  • Organizing and managing press events, product launches, and interviews.
  • Analyzing PR campaign performance and generating reports for leadership teams.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, or Journalism.
  • 3+ years of experience in public relations, preferably in a corporate or agency setting.
  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Experience managing media relationships and press events.
  • Key Skills: Media relations, Press release writing, Crisis management, Event coordination, Social media communication.
