Risk Controller Role Overview

As a critical member of the Risk Management team, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining data integrity and validity for external financial reporting. This includes quarterly earnings presentations, SEC 10Q/K, CCAR 14Q, and standalone legal entity financial statements.

The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of risk reporting processes and understand the broader country risk control framework. You will identify and remediate data quality issues, participate in change management initiatives, and contribute value-added analysis to support senior Risk executives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Executing controls such as reconciliations, independent reviews, and variance analysis to support internal and external reporting
  • Identifying and logging data quality issues, with a focus on timely resolution and process improvements

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and accurately. They will work independently to produce high-quality results within tight deadlines, demonstrating a strong commitment to excellence and attention to detail.
