Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Telecom Specialist.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of telecommunications, including copper and fiber splicing, termination, and patching. They will be responsible for ensuring seamless connectivity in data centers and outdoor environments.

The successful individual will possess the following skills:

  • Extensive knowledge of telecommunications infrastructure, including copper and fiber cabling.
  • Proficiency in power cable termination, including AC and DC power cables.
  • Ability to perform low-current work on CCTV, AP, and other systems.
  • Experience with installing and configuring network equipment, including racks, PDUs, servers, switches, routers, and chassis.
  • Skilled in identifying and replacing faulty components, such as SFPs, patch cords, or transceivers.
  • Knowledge of testing tools, including power meters and OTDRs.
  • Basic proficiency in PC usage and remote access, allowing for login and configuration of devices.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to create reports and update emails as needed.
