Operational Risk Management Expert

  • This position requires a seasoned professional with 9-12 years of experience in risk management, incident response, third-party risk, business continuity planning, loss data analysis, fraud risk assessment, internal control frameworks, SOP development, and policy implementation.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage independent projects across various operational risk areas.
  • Develop project plans for timely delivery and review existing frameworks, policies, procedures, and risk matrices.
  • Identify changes to the risk profile and consider their impact on the risk rating heat map.
  • Meet business needs and regulatory expectations for assessing key aspects of each area under review.
  • Provide regular updates on project execution and quality reviews.
  • Identify and emphasize findings that warrant discussions with Risk Management Committees.
  • Develop and present risk dashboards and analytics on key items.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field or CA, ACCA, MBA.
  • Strong understanding of global and Indian risk management frameworks, methodologies, and standards.
  • Very strong understanding of the financial services industry, businesses, regulators, and their roles.
  • Excellent MS-Excel, Word, and PPT skills.
