Engineers play a vital role in the development and execution of laboratory procedures.

The primary responsibility of an Engineer Specialist II is to manage and maintain laboratories across various sites. They are accountable for ensuring that all test equipment and solutions are calibrated, certified, and up-to-date. This involves collaborating with cross-functional teams within the organization to identify and address electrical and mechanical requirements for laboratory setups.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Effective management and maintenance of laboratory infrastructure, including equipment calibration and certification
  • Collaboration with engineering teams to design and implement test benches and optimize laboratory layouts
  • Strong understanding of power systems, including AC and DC power supply systems
  • Hands-on experience with cable harness fabrication, soldering, and lab equipment handling
  • Knowledge of IPC-A-610 certification and electrical/mechanical integration principles

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of industry experience in laboratory management, with hands-on expertise in equipment calibration, testing, and maintenance
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification
  • Proven ability to collaborate with diverse teams, including engineering, product, and operations groups
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Highly developed interpersonal and negotiation abilities
