Job Opportunity

Vedanta's Aluminium Business is a leading producer of aluminium at 2.3 million tonnes per annum.

The company has been scaling its efforts to become a fully integrated, global leader in aluminium production offering a wide range of high-quality aluminium products.

This role will play a crucial part in commencing new mines to achieve the vision.

Responsibilities:

  • Resource Modelling, Pit Optimization and Scheduling.
  • DPR preparation for mining blocks.
  • Preparation of Mining Plan (Statutory and operational).
  • Conduct various scoping studies, coordinate and undertake feasibility studies, HEMM requirements.
  • Undertake exploration programme including in-fill drilling to capture desired quality and quantity from the mine.
  • Liaise with statutory bodies for clearances and approvals.
  • Responsible for providing necessary data inputs required for obtaining Forest and Environmental Clearance.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Must have 60% and above throughout education.
  • B.Tech /M. Tech (Mining Engineer) with an experience of 10+ years preferably in similar roles.
  • Knowledge & exposure to project planning tools like MS Project, Primavera, MS Office, Auto-CAD, documentation management.
  • Demonstrated leadership in mining approvals, commencement and mining operations.
  • Strong understanding of statutory clearances and relevant Acts, regulations & Government guidelines.
