Job Title: Assistant Manager - Financial Planning & Analysis

This is a leadership role within the Finance organization that focuses on strategic planning, financial analysis, and process optimization. The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience in finance.

  • Coaching and mentoring of a high-performing team to achieve business objectives
  • Setting up and driving team-level objectives, including process optimization and automation projects
  • Leading the monthly reporting process to ensure timely and accurate reporting to internal and external stakeholders
  • Managing actual financial closures, adhering to financial reporting deadlines, and explaining variations
  • Conducting departmental/functional cost center analysis and preparing management reports with key indicators and metrics
  • Supporting annual budgets, mid-year reviews, and forecast processes, as well as collaborating with cross-functions
  • Assisting in the preparation of financial presentations to leadership teams and contributing to continuous development and research of accounting principles and practices

Key Requirements:

  • Finance professional with minimum 9 years of work experience in FP&A domain
  • Hands-on experience in ERP, MS Office, and reporting tools, with knowledge of Power BI added advantage
  • Analytical thinking ability, good team player, self-starter, and balance stakeholder adaptability
  • Preferred qualifications include qualified chartered accountant, CMA/MBA in finance, basic understanding of accounting principles and US GAAP, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and system knowledge of Oracle and Hyperion Financial Management
