About the Role:

The Client Agreement Specialist will be responsible for handling a wide range of legal issues affecting Gartner, primarily focusing on sell-side contracting with clients. The ideal candidate will draft client-facing agreements, participate in external negotiations, provide practical solutions to stakeholders, and address compliance issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize sell-side contracts with Indian clients.
  • Support Sales teams in client negotiations, requests for quotes (RFQ), and requests for proposals (RFP).
  • Maintain a repository of sell-side client agreements using an efficient data management system.
  • Collaborate with Pricing, Finance, and Deal Hub Teams to develop price proposals for Gartner sell-side client agreements.
  • Streamline communications between internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support the Legal team in global, regional, and local initiatives, including mergers & acquisitions, data protection, cyber security, real estate, ethics, and compliance.
  • Conduct legal and compliance training sessions to create awareness and equip employees with policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in laws applicable to Gartner and provide internal updates.
  • Provide timely and accurate advice to internal and external business stakeholders, highlighting key risks and strategies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law.
  • 5-7 years of experience in negotiating sell-side contracts with client legal departments.
  • Relevant experience in a US MNC is preferable.
  • Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and drafting skills developed in a client-facing sales environment.

The estimated salary for this role is around $120,000 per year, based on industry standards and market conditions.
