Job Description:
The Assistant Front Office Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the front office department, delivering exceptional guest experiences and fostering a culture of growth and development within the team.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the delivery of a world-class guest journey and experience
- Improving guest satisfaction and comfort through proactive engagement and effective problem resolution
- Delivering on plans and objectives to achieve front office initiatives and hotel targets
- Supervising the front office team to drive performance and growth
- Ensuring costs and inventory are controlled, productivity levels are attained, and effective working relationships with stakeholders are maintained
- Taking ownership of delivering an effective planned guest engagement programme
- Ensuring adherence to legislation, best practice activities, and compliance with internal and external audit requirements
Requirements:
To succeed as an Assistant Front Office Manager, you will require:
- 8-10 years of experience in front office management
- Strong supervisory and managerial skills with a hands-on approach and lead-by-example work style
- A commitment to delivering exceptional guest service with a passion for the hospitality industry
- The ability to find creative solutions and offer support where required
- Personal integrity and the ability to work in an environment that demands excellence, time, and energy
- Experience working with IT systems on various platforms
- Strong communication skills
