Financial Modelling Manager Role

In this key leadership position, you will oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive financial models for various projects. As a seasoned professional with a strong background in finance, your expertise will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of these models.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  1. Model Development: Design and build complex financial models that cater to the unique needs of each project, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes.
  2. RFP Evaluation: Conduct thorough evaluations of Requests for Proposal (RFPs) to inform model assumptions and structure, facilitating informed decision-making.
  3. Collaboration and Coordination: Foster strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including Development, Project Financing, Finance, and EPC, to gather necessary inputs and ensure model accuracy.
  4. Scenario Analysis: Provide critical support to Development, EPC, and Financing teams by running scenario analyses and case studies to optimize economic benefits and identify key drivers.
  5. Model Auditing: Collaborate with model auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  6. Lender Support: Offer expert guidance to lenders during project finance processes, ensuring smooth communication and successful project outcomes.
Requirements
  • A degree in business, finance, or accounting from a reputable institution.
  • At least 10 years of experience in building and developing project finance-based financial models.
  • A minimum of 4-5 years of financial modelling experience in solar/renewable projects.
  • A proven track record of delivering high-quality results with a can-do attitude and passion for financial modelling.
  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment and engage in cross-functional collaboration.
