Customer Service Representative Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients via phone, email, and chat.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide timely and effective support to customers regarding product usage, setup, or issue resolution.
  • Understand customer concerns and guide them through step-by-step troubleshooting processes.
  • Elevate complex technical issues to senior colleagues or product teams when necessary.
  • Utilize CRM or helpdesk tools (e.g., Zendesk, Freshdesk, Salesforce) to track, manage, and resolve support tickets efficiently.
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, feature updates, and FAQs to provide accurate information to customers.
  • Achieve key performance indicators such as SLAs, CSAT scores, first contact resolution, and other metrics.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions with clear documentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in any field (IT, CS, BBA, B.Com, or equivalent).
  • Experience: 0–3 years in customer support / technical support roles (freshers welcome with strong communication and learning mindset).
  • Communication:
  • Fluent spoken and written English (neutral or global accent).
  • Strong listening and problem-solving skills.
