Medical Records Director

About the Role
  • Oversee all medical records activities within the hospital, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Develop and implement standardized formats for patient care, improving efficiency and reducing errors.
  • Coordinate medical audit activities to ensure quality and identify areas for improvement.
  • Report deficiency check information to management and clinical heads, facilitating informed decision-making.
  • Approve changes in patient name and demographic data according to hospital policy, maintaining data integrity.
  • Collaborate with medical staff, nursing departments, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth hospital operations and effective communication.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Medical Records Director or in a similar leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of medical records regulations and standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
