Job Title:

Logistics Manager

As a Logistics Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end import, export, and land transport of sensitive semiconductor equipment, ODC cargo, utilities, gas, chemicals, and finished goods products.

This role involves managing logistics processes for inbound and outbound transportation from global and domestic suppliers and customers. You will coordinate activities with suppliers, customers, logistics partners, licensing authorities, and regulatory bodies to ensure seamless operations, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish logistics processes for inbound and outbound transportation of semiconductor equipment, utilities, gas, chemicals, and finished goods products
  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor inbound and outbound logistics activities
  • Manage transportation and logistics across multiple 3PL sites, ensuring timely and accurate product delivery
  • Identify potential risks in the supply chain, such as transportation delays or natural disasters
  • Possess a strong understanding of Indian regulations concerning import and export, storage, and distribution of gases and chemicals
  • Analyze logistics workflows and KPIs to identify and implement cost-saving and process improvement initiatives
  • Manage reverse logistics

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an equivalent field is advantageous, along with experience in logistics and supply chain management
  • Minimum 12-14 years of proven experience in import/export operations, preferably within manufacturing sectors
  • Experience specifically in the semiconductor industry is a plus
  • Regulatory knowledge: extensive knowledge of ODC cargo, gas and chemical logistics, including Indian import and export regulations
  • Logistics & Supply Chain Management: strong understanding of international logistics, 3PL management, inbound/outbound logistics, multi-modal transportation, freight forwarding
  • Negotiation & Communication: excellent verbal and written communication skills for liaising with diverse stakeholders globally and negotiating effectively
  • IT Proficiency: competence in using MS Office Suite, ERP systems, and potentially specific logistics/trade compliance software
