We are currently seeking an experienced Sustaining Engineer with over 10 years of hands-on experience in supporting products through their full lifecycle. The successful candidate will be responsible for mentoring and upskilling engineers, sharing best practices, and enabling continuous improvement in sustaining engineering processes.

Sustaining Engineer

This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who has a strong background in product lifecycle support and sustaining engineering. The Sustaining Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that products meet customer requirements and regulatory standards.

  • Develop and implement sustainable solutions to improve product performance and reliability.
  • Mentor and train junior engineers on best practices and new technologies.
  • Collaborate with design teams to develop and implement design changes and product modifications efficiently.
  • Lead CAPA investigations and ensure corrective actions are properly executed.
  • Conduct detailed root cause analysis to identify and resolve recurring product issues.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • A degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Biomedical Engineering.
  • Over 10 years of experience in product lifecycle support and sustaining engineering.
  • Strong expertise in root cause analysis techniques (5-Why, Fishbone, FMEA).
  • Experience driving CAPA processes and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards (ISO, FDA).
Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications would be beneficial:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience with PLM software and reliability tools.
