Jacking System Supervisor Job Description

This role involves overseeing the installation, maintenance and repair of jacking systems in offshore environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in jacking system operations, including 15+ years with a minimum of 10 years as a supervisor or lead technician.

  • Extensive knowledge of various jacking system designs, including Gusto MSC, NOV BLM, Keppel Fells, F & G, and others.
  • Fluency in English language, both written and spoken, with the ability to work with global teams.
  • Strong understanding of hydraulic systems, site-specific risk assessments, and health, safety, and environmental expectations.
  • Previous experience in offshore travel and offshore-related work scopes.
  • Excellent reporting skills, particularly for inspection and overhaul reports.
  • Able to lead a team safely and follow high standards of safety.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Supervise the installation, maintenance, and repair of jacking systems.
  2. Lead a team to complete work scopes in a safe manner.
  3. Conduct site-specific risk assessments and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental expectations.
  4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
  5. Collaborate with global teams to achieve project goals.
  6. Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or degree in mechanical, marine, or offshore engineering.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in diverse, multicultural environments.
  • Fluency in English – written and spoken.
  • Collaborative mindset with global team coordination.
