Job Title: Production Support Service Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Service Engineer to provide comprehensive production support for tax management systems and their integration with ERP platforms.

This role requires both taxation expertise and technical troubleshooting capabilities to ensure accurate tax calculations and seamless system operations across multiple jurisdictions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of indirect taxation, including Sales & Use Tax, VAT, GST, and Withholding Tax, as well as experience with Vertex tax systems and ERP integrations.

Responsibilities include applying expertise in Indirect Taxation, maintaining and troubleshooting tax calculation rules, and supporting ERP integrations with Vertex.

Additionally, the candidate will ensure accuracy of tax rates, exemptions, and tax determinations, manage tax configuration, and support tax reporting and compliance.

Key qualifications include strong problem-solving skills, ability to document and communicate technical solutions effectively, and proficiency in SQL and data analysis.

As a Production Support Service Engineer, you will be responsible for receiving, analyzing, and prioritizing related support tickets, providing timely solutions to users, and documenting resolution steps and knowledge base articles.

You will also perform SQL & Data Analysis by querying ERP and Vertex databases for tax calculations, transaction history, and reconciliation, and troubleshoot ERP-Vertex integration issues.

Finally, the successful candidate will support system upgrades and patches, monitor system performances, and recommend improvements.
