Cloud Application Specialist

As a Cloud Application Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying cloud-based solutions that integrate with both cloud and non-cloud infrastructures. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure the architecture's viability, security, and performance.

Your role will require a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions in a dynamic environment.

You will engage in the design, construction, testing, and deployment of cloud application solutions, creating proofs of concept to validate your designs. You will be responsible for deploying infrastructure and platform environments, ensuring that all components work harmoniously to meet organizational goals and client needs.

In this role, you will be expected to be an Subject Matter Expert (SME) and collaborate with multiple teams to perform tasks efficiently. You will also be responsible for team decisions, engaging with key stakeholders, and providing solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.

Professional & Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Data Modeling Techniques and Methodologies is a must.
  • A strong understanding of cloud architecture and deployment strategies is required.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation is necessary.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes is beneficial.
  • The ability to analyze and optimize cloud resource usage for cost efficiency is essential.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Modeling Techniques and Methodologies is required.
  • An Engineering graduate preferably Computer Science graduate with 15 years of full-time education is preferred.
