Job Description

At our organization, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to develop our fundraising efforts. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience in fundraising or a related field and be eager to consolidate their skills and grow into a frontline fundraising professional.

This role involves research, proposals, systems, and donor stewardship. The successful candidate will maintain the donor pipeline, draft proposals and reports, and ensure that stewardship systems are well-managed. Additionally, they may have opportunities to co-own donor relationships and manage a warm portfolio sourced via our Development Advisory Board.

The Fundraising Associate will work closely with our leadership team, who sets ambitious targets and works efficiently. Success in this role requires resilience, proactive communication, and the ability to manage upwards with confidence.


Key Responsibilities
  • Donor Intelligence & Prospecting
    • Maintain an up-to-date donor database
    • Research and map new prospects
    • Prepare concise donor and prospect briefs for leadership and Development Board meetings
  • Proposals & Communications
    • Draft proposals, reports, and presentations aligned with our initiatives
    • Keep proposal/report templates current and standardised across initiatives
    • Contribute to donor newsletters, mailers, and impact communications
  • Systems & Stewardship Support
    • Maintain grant calendar and submission tracker
    • Ensure all donor/board interactions are logged in CRM within 48 hours
    • Lead the fundraising design and delivery of donor salons and stewardship events
    • Prepare dashboards and internal reports on fundraising activity

Candidate Profile

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• 3–5 years of experience in fundraising, donor engagement, or corporate partnerships

• Strong research, writing, and presentation skills

• Proficiency in spreadsheets, CRM tools, and donor data management

• Confident working with senior stakeholders

• Prior experience with arts/non-profit sector preferred

• Ability to manage upwards with confidence
