Job Title: Infrastructure Automation Expert

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Automation Expert to design, develop, and maintain automation solutions for infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand infrastructure needs and deliver automation solutions.

  • Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts using Chef.
  • Integrate and manage solutions in High Performance Computing (HPC) environments.
  • Closely collaborate with global teams to ensure compliance with standards and security requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve automation, deployment, and configuration issues.
  • Maintain documentation of automation code, architecture, and operational procedures.
Key Skills & Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • 7+ years of professional experience in infrastructure automation and configuration management.
  • Strong expertise in Chef scripting development — cookbooks, recipes, resources, templates.
  • Hands-on experience in HPC (High Performance Computing) environments.
  • JnJ project experience is mandatory.
  • Proficient in Ruby, Shell scripting, and relevant DevOps tools.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code principles.
  • Experience with Linux/Unix systems administration.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
