Cloud Operations Manager Role

This role is critical in scaling cloud infrastructure and delivering seamless experiences to customers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of cloud operations professionals and ensure efficient delivery of services.
  • Support 24x7 operations, responding to service requests and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Oversee the provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure, ensuring adherence to best practices and security standards.
  • Manage and resolve cloud & on-prem-related incidents, ensuring minimal downtime and impact on business operations.
  • Monitor cloud environments for performance, availability, and cost optimization, and implement proactive measures to address any issues or inefficiencies.
  • Lead and mentor a team of cloud operations professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and technical support to foster their professional growth and development.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning within the team, encouraging knowledge sharing and cross-training opportunities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of cloud operations and automation experience.
  • 3+ years of team lead experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex plans and designs.
  • Experience of tracking cloud ops metrics (SLA, Incident, Release tracking, Cost optimization and Security).
  • Strong knowledge of Cloud service providers such as Microsoft Azure, AWS and GCP.
  • Experience in PowerShell, Bash, or Python scripts for infrastructure provisioning, deployment, automation, and maintenance activities.
